Is there a web site to know if a house is in foreclosure?
My husband and i are planning on buying a house in Miami, Fl is there a web site where we could find if a house is in foreclosure?
Not a website, but your real estate agent can tell you. Also, foreclosures, and the proceedings/processes leading up to the actual foreclosure generally have to be legally recorded with the Country Clerk/Recorders office. So you can go to the local clerk recorder and check, most clerk/recorders offices do not have this information available on line. You may be able to check using just the address, or you may need to bring with you the name(s) of the current owners.
