Pay Foreclosure
How much under the listing price did you pay for your foreclosure?
I’m thinking of buying a foreclosed home and I’m just curious as to what amound under the listing price did other buyers pay for their foreclosures? $20K less than list price? $50K?
The listing prices I’m interested in are those under $200K.
Please no comments about why I shouldn’t buy a foreclosed home or about inspections. I just want to know the amount under the listing price buyers paid for a home at that value or under.

Do not EVER expect that you can buy a foreclosure below the list price. It happens sometimes, but other times foreclosures sell for considerably MORE than the listing price. As a real estate broker, I’ve dealt with more than one which ended up that way.
These days, some lenders are underpricing their REO properties in hopes of getting MANY offers. You need the assistance of a qualified buyer real estate agent, who can guide you concerning the actual market value of any property. Lenders are not going to sell for less than they need to sell for.
