Halloween Foreclosure
Two-faced family???????
Ok our home is in foreclosure. My mom had to stop working due to injuries about 9 or 10 months ago. My aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa…ect have been gossiping behing our backs. Like my mom was going to be nice and have a small halloween party for our family. My 8 year old cousin came over and says “mommy said you shouldn’t be having a party when you don’t have any money” What do I do. They are all fake and christmas is coming and it is going to be hard to be merry. Do I just let it go? It hurts so bad that they have money and they treat us differently because we don’t.
And to make it worse…. The aunt and uncle that gossip, well they have boats, a wii, a $900 treadmill (which is now a coat rack) and yet their daughter doesn’t have clothes that fit her….
Explain that????
Well they say no one can hurt you quite like your family! Confrontation is the best solution as far as I’m concerned. I don’t mean a knock down drag out but I usually find that people usually say $**T behind your back because they’re too scared to say it to your face. If you call ‘em on it what can they really say but the truth? Besides, it’s not worth trying to spend the holidays pretending that everything is all good between you because it might backfire and make things worse. Make them feel bad for judging you because they should. Think about what you want to say and say it, no regrets because it’s only a step back if you have to apologize. Good luck!
