Foreclosure Warnings

foreclosure warnings
What happens if they send you foreclosure letters even if you made your payments?

To make a long story short, here it goes. Say your husband tries to get your home mortgage reduced because you’re unemployed. Your mortgage company allows you to pay a lower mortgage while you go through your “review period.” Then suddenly you get foreclosure warnings on your house through certified mail!!! Then you call the mortgage company and they say “oh that’s just legal reason don’t worry about it.” Do you trust these people or get out? I’M FREAKING OUT HERE!!! My husband still trusts these people at the mortgage company like they are going to reduce our rates! I think we are getting screwed!
I always had excellent credit. It was in the 800s! How bad will this damage my credit rating?

This is standard. They are covering their bases, this way, if you decide to try and screw them further they can get you out of the house right away instead of waiting until the review period ends and then starting the foreclosure.

If you are not going to default again you have nothing to worry about.
