Foreclosure, buying house, who pays for utilities?
was asked by our realtor to put utilities on in our name on 04/12/10. We’ve been paying ever since?
on our 4th extension?
WHY did realtor ask you to do this? WHY did you do this?
Utilities are NOT a lien on the property, except for the water/garbage bill. Bills should be minimal if the house is sitting empty. You can ask for reimbursement for utility cost IF the delays have been due to sellers (bank) and not due to you and your lender. No guarantees.
