i signed a lease 1/1/08 the triplex was sold 3/1/08 the new owners want to evict all units what r our rights?
it was a foreclosure i personally have a 2000$ deposit and pay 800$ a month this lease is with the owner who was foreclosed on a real estate agent offered 1000$ for us to leave do the new owners have to honor the existing lease
No, the owners do not have to honor the ENTIRE existing lease. However, the owners do have an obligation to give you advance notice so that you may prepare for the move. They also have to pay your security deposit ( if you paid one).
