Are there any laws that prevent renting a foreclosed home?
All of these people duped into paying rent on homes that are being seized. . . where are the laws to protect them?

in illinois if a house is in foreclosure a landlord needs to
A. tell the tenant WITHIN 7 days , WRITTEN notice that they are in default , if they fail to do so , they are in breach of the lease agreement and the tenant can terminate the lease.
B. they MUST notify anyone they are trying to dupe into renting their foreclosure property or property in default that they are in arrears before the person is allowed to sign on to the lease, failure to do so is breach and cause for a tenant to rightfully terminate without penalty
I think alot of these people need to make sure they give information relevant for their states, and stop acting like their laws APPLY to everyone.
