Foreclosure Dismissed
Can a foreclosure or repo take place during the time that we are awaiting the decision to reopen our BK case?
My Ch. 13 BK was dismissed due to a late payment to the court. We got the payment in within 4 days after dismissal to be considered for having the case reopened. Our attorney has since submitted a motion to have the case reopened. What actions can lenders take during this period of time?
it sure can. the only thing you can do now is cross your fingers that your lawyer can do something before the lender does
