Foreclosure Directions

In the state of Georgia, what are my rights if the property I am renting is in foreclosure?
I have been renting a home for 28 months and paying on time for all of these months and just got a letter saying the house I am living in has been sold on the courthouse steps. I called the number on the letter (sent from a law firm) for more information and was told that I have 3 weeks to get out. I have 2 and 1/2 years of life in this house–all kinds of furniture, appliances, just stuff that I now have to find a place for, let alone a new home! I have been told that in GA I should have more time to vacate the premises. Someone has mentioned a 90 day law of some kind? Does anyone know if this is true? Please point me in the right direction of what I can do. I work 65 hours a week and am trying to juggle all of this at once. I don’t mind vacating the property for the new owners (a bank), but need more than 3 weeks to do so. If you have an informed answer that pertains to the state of Georgia that would be great. Also, a link to back it up would be helpful! Thanks!
You have 3 weeks.
You can not rent from the bank.
The bank HAS to have you out as you are not insurable and they can’t sell it with you in there.
Call the law firm and ask if they will compensate you for a moving company to help.
I am surprised you just heard about this, most renters know when the house is in foreclosure, it was supposed to be posted on your door awhile back.
