Foreclosure Condominiums

Best place to start if you were interested in buying a cheap condominium, such as foreclosure…?

I mean cheap, south Chicago.

first get your self preapproved for a home loan from you local bank or credit union. now that you know what you can afford to finance, get a hold of some local realtors. let them know your preapproved and ask let them know your in the market for an inexpensive condo in south chicago. they will find it for you and all you have to do is go to the lookups. when you find something you like you buy it. unless your prepared to pay cash for a foreclosure property, you have a lot to learn about buying foreclosure properties, otherwise you wouldnt be asking this question.

unless you willing to do the leg work by checking the public records for Notices of Default being filed and checking the court dates, or calling local lending institutions in your area and asking for their foreclosure department and checking on their REO’s (real estate owned), your much better off buying a listed property with the assitance of a realtor, cause the banks might already be listing those properties themselves.

check with you local credit union to see if they offer any first time home buyers seminars. this will help you understand the fundamentals of buying real estate
