Assignment Foreclosure
Can a farmland foreclosure be stopped by filing Chapter 12 bancruptcy?
I know that chapter 12 is for farmland, vs Chap 7, 11, or 13. This is for a school assignment!

Well if you think about it it just depends what you’re eligible for income-wise. Any bankruptcy will stop a foreclosure, the only variable being whether or not you want to say the farm is your home or your business and whether or not you make enough money to have to pay the money back in monthly payments.
